What You Should Know About Voter Registration
In the State of Arizona only registered Republicans or Democrats may vote in the Presidential primary election. It is not open to voters registered as Independents, Libertarians or any other party not officially recognized by the state. At election time many voters have the feeling that they are not to thrilled with either candidate or party and their only choice is to vote for the lesser of two evils or they may not even vote. Many voters cast their vote against a party or candidate and not for a candidate which is a wasted vote. It is important to vote in the primary election to help select the candidate you want to run in the main election.
